This is a Paste Up board collage project I made to protest the rise of AI art in late 2022, utilizing the quote ‘we humans are losing faith in ourselves’ from Hayao Miyazaki in response to being shown AI technology. I created the head digitally in Procreate and generated the text with AI in DALI to reinforce the themes of AI image generation as a thorn in the art world. I used acrylic paints to paint the background and drew the people in the background with pencil. The heart an image borrowed from my peer to reinforce the collaborative nature of art work.
